Commissioned quotes are free.  All you will need to do is to send me a photo that I will be working from by mail or email; after I see the photo I will be able to send you a quote for the portrait. Please send at least a 4" x 6" or 5" x 7" picture of good quality. If at all possible please mail a good quality  photo to me for reference. The quality of the painting will only be as good as the quality of the picture from which the portrait is painted from. The price of the portrait is determined by how much detail is included in the portrait  (ie: hands, feet, background, etc.) I will be glad to discuss a time frame with you, however, it usually will take three to four months to finish a quality portrait.

Portraits can be painted of children, pets, adults, groups, children with pets, etc. The list goes on and on. What a wonderful gift to hang in your home or to give as a gift to someone in your family. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, why not say it with a nicely painted portrait of that someone special. The size of the portrait depends on if it is one individual or several.  This will be discussed with the client. Portrait costs will also depend on the details that are in the picture. When you have decided to have the portrait done, then a deposit of half will be required to start the painting. Upon completion of the portrait the remaining balance is due.
